Now, Ethereum will not lose 5 million ETH per year in proof-of-work, and transaction fees are very low, with transactions being completed within 30 seconds instead of 1-30 minutes (implemented through EIP-1550). Since 2016, Ethereum has never stopped due to DoS attacks and consensus failures.
