Bitpanda Expands Crypto Offerings in UK with FCA Approval

Austrian cryptocurrency platform Bitpanda has expanded its operations in the United Kingdom following approval from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Bitpanda can now offer more than 500 crypto assets to UK investors, making it the platform with the widest range available in the country. The approval also allows Bitpanda to provide various crypto services such as staking, savings plans, and crypto indexes to UK investors. Despite temporarily halting new user onboarding in 2023 due to changes in UK crypto marketing rules, Bitpanda has now received approval for brokerage services, allowing access to over 500 cryptocurrencies. Bitpanda's UK crypto offerings align with those in the EU, with no plans to list UK-specific coins at the moment.
