Technical Development Monthly Report: June 2023

Validated Project

Hello, Skytopians!

We have made significant updates this month and are excited to announce the open beta launch of Party Planet. In comparison to the closed beta, we have optimized the art and interactive experience and introduced a new party game called Word War, along with Competitive Mode and the Season feature. Additionally, we are thrilled to announce the release of Skytopia’s official website 2.0, featuring a new art style, enhanced interactive experience, and fresh content.

Product Development Progress:

Skytopia Website

We have introduced an exclusive game page dedicated to Party Planet. On this page, users can access information about Party Planet, including project progress, updates, and installation packages. We plan to design unique pages for other games within Skytopia in the near future.

Skytopia’s Worldview

We have unveiled a brand-new World View of Skytopia on our official website. This immersive world showcases a captivating story, a diverse set of characters, and an engaging plot. It reveals the origins of the entire world and the emergence of its five main cities. Our goal is to design different games around these cities, each representing a distinct civilization and gameplay within the worldview. Stay tuned for more updates!

Party Planet (game)

The latest update includes the following highlights:

  • Competitive Mode:We have introduced a new game mode that allows players to participate with fewer resources. Competitive Mode aims to enhance the gaming experience and provide additional rewards to players.
  • Leaderboard:We have created leaderboards to showcase players’ victory records in Competitive Mode. It displays successive wins and accumulative wins. Additionally, players who make it to the Top 50 will receive fantastic rewards!
  • Season:To encourage user engagement, Party Planet now offers a Season feature. It provides specific game targets and rewards. Users’ activity will be accumulated during each season(30 days), and those who remain active will receive extra rewards after acquiring the season pass.
  • Word War:Word War is the latest addition to Party Planet, featuring a four-player game. In this game, each player is presented with a word above their head. Players must navigate to the corresponding letters in order and press the key to confirm the spelling, earning one point. When a player successfully completes the task and lights up their word, all players’ words will update simultaneously. Players can try to distract and hinder each other from finishing their spelling. However, they must also be cautious of attacks from other players.

Thank you for your continuous support, and we look forward to bringing you more exciting updates in the future!

Best regards, Mason (Co-founder & Head of Technology)
