On July 16, according to BIT(bit.com) market data, US pre-market storage chip stocks generally declined, with SK Hynix ADR falling about 5%. South Korea announced today an increase in the minimum margin requirements for chip leverage ETFs and prohibited the listing of new single-stock leveraged products. TSMC dropped about 2% after announcing its second-quarter earnings earlier today, which were impressive but included an increase in capital expenditure expectations for the next three years. SanDisk fell about 4%, Western Digital dropped about 4%, and Seagate Technology declined about 3%.
