Zhou Hongyi: AI Competition Enters Phase of Implementation and Security

On July 17, during the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference, Zhou Hongyi, founder of 360, attended as a representative of security enterprises. He stated that artificial intelligence is transitioning from the large model phase to the intelligent agent phase, where AI is no longer just a tool for answering questions but is gradually acquiring the ability to autonomously execute tasks. As the application of intelligent agents accelerates, the corresponding security risks are also increasing. Artificial intelligence needs to adhere to a development direction that is safe, trustworthy, reliable, and controllable. Zhou Hongyi emphasized that this year's WAIC not only provides an important communication platform for the global development of artificial intelligence but also further clarifies the direction and principles of AI development.
