On July 17, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued another statement: In response to the aggressive actions of the U.S. military, we targeted the special operations command center of U.S. forces at the Tanf military base in Syria, destroying a radar system and several helicopters used for special operations, resulting in casualties among U.S. personnel. Iran maintains full control over the Strait of Hormuz, and as long as U.S. aggression continues, not a drop of oil or gas will be exported through the region.
