In the news, its direct competitor, Moonlight, released Kimi K3, which surpassed Claude Opus 4.8 and GPT-5.5 in some programming and agent tests. Additionally, yesterday Anthropic specifically named Zhiyu for the first time, accusing it of distilling Claude and OpenAI models in GLM-5.2.
