On August 14, World Liberty Financial and its partners have postponed the launch of digital tokens related to the Trump Maldives Resort, originally scheduled for this spring. The project aims to tokenize the loan proceeds used to fund the construction of the resort, allowing investors who purchase tokens to receive a portion of the interest income. According to informed sources, the delay in the issuance plan is due to the impact of the Iran war on travel activities in the Middle East and surrounding regions. The resort project is co-developed by the Trump Organization and Dar Global, and World Liberty Financial had previously advanced its real estate asset tokenization plans with relevant institutions.
