  • Japanese Stock Funds See Over $6 Billion Inflow in a Week, Leverage Nikkei Funds Gain Momentum

According to EPFR data, for the week ending in late October, net inflows into Japanese stock funds exceeded $6 billion, marking the fourth time this level has been surpassed on record and the first time since late April. Cumulative net inflows since 2026 have surpassed $33 billion, equivalent to 2.8% of the assets of related funds. However, the structure of this inflow is noteworthy: over half of the funds flowed into those tracking the Nikkei 225 index, with the inflow scale second only to the record set in 2019; leveraged Nikkei funds saw inflows rise to a 16-week high, ending three consecutive weeks of net outflows. In contrast, funds tracking the MSCI Japan index had previously shown more stable inflows. The data indicates that the recent inflow into the Japanese stock market reflects not only long-term allocation demand but also significant index trading and leveraged fund activities. If market volatility increases, leveraged funds may quickly reverse their flows, making it a key focus to see if this substantial weekly inflow can translate into sustained allocation.

On October 29, analyst Darkfost stated that Strategy currently holds 848,517 BTC, with an overall average purchase cost of approximately $75,446. The price of Bitcoin has recently climbed back above its 2026 holding cost line of about $78,900; however, when accounting for all purchases since 2025 and sales at this summer's lows, the estimated cost remains around $90,600, which is higher than the current BTC price. Darkfost noted that Strategy has resumed purchasing BTC after a pause of several weeks, but did not make any new purchases last week, meaning that the new positions added since 2025 have yet to realize an overall profit.

  • Claude Enterprise Launches 'Intelligent Reports' to Analyze Team Usage and Costs

On October 29, Anthropic updated the Claude Help Center documentation to announce the launch of 'Intelligent Reports' for the Claude Enterprise package. This feature analyzes team workflows using Claude, calculates costs based on list prices, identifies friction points in conversations, and highlights repetitive patterns that are worth packaging as shared skills. The report scope can be limited to a single team over the past 28 days and can select products such as chat, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork, with support for filtering by group, department, or cost center. Reports can be downloaded in HTML format and retain drill-down functionality. Each organization can run 10 reports per month for free, and failed reports do not count against the quota. This feature is turned off by default and must be enabled by the owner or primary owner in 'Organization Settings > Features'; primary owners, owners, administrators, and custom roles with analysis viewing permissions can create and view reports. Reports typically take several hours to generate, and completion is notified via email. Organizations using Customer Managed Encryption Keys (CMEK), HIPAA configurations, or proprietary cloud inference mixed deployments cannot use this feature; if zero data retention is enabled for Claude Code, reports do not cover Claude Code. Anthropic states that conversations involving restricted topics are used only for aggregate analysis, do not display summaries, and custom questions cannot be posed regarding them; this feature must not be used to assess individual performance or make hiring decisions.

  • CryptoQuant Founder: Bitcoin ETF Net Inflows Close to Zero This Year, Selling Pressure May Have Been Released

On October 29, Ki Young Ju, founder of CryptoQuant, stated that net inflows into Bitcoin ETFs have approached zero this year, while the price of BTC has only decreased by about 7%. He believes that the relative stability of the price, despite limited ETF demand, indicates a lower likelihood of large-scale sell-offs by early holders or miners, and that some investors looking to sell may have already reduced their holdings. He anticipates that once the uncertainties related to the U.S. midterm elections dissipate and ETF funds start to flow back in, the upward momentum for Bitcoin may be restored.
