On October 29, Trade.xyz (trade[XYZ]) announced on X that it is collaborating with the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, to launch a Hyperliquid-based 24/7 perpetual futures market in the United States. The two parties plan to establish a dedicated U.S. market, supported by new trading and clearing infrastructure, which still requires approval from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The planned contracts will cover stocks, indices, commodities, foreign exchange, and crypto assets, with access provided through partner brokers and platforms. Trade.xyz stated that its market on Hyperliquid has accumulated over $650 billion in trading volume in just over a year. ICE will make a strategic investment in this venture, with specific terms undisclosed; investors including Stan Druckenmiller and other market participants will also join. This U.S. market will be developed alongside the existing HIP-3 market.
