As the war approaches six months in duration, AAA data shows that as of Friday morning, the average price of gasoline in the United States was about $4.11 per gallon, up from about $3.15 a year earlier. According to polling averages from Decision Desk HQ, Trump's overall average approval rating stood at 40.6% as of Friday morning, with an average disapproval rating of 57.5%. A Quinnipiac University survey showed that 60% of American voters oppose the war, the highest percentage opposed since the conflict began on February 28. Nearly three-quarters of Americans said they do not support sending U.S. troops to Iran. An AP-NORC poll also showed that 64% of Americans believe the war is "not worth it," including 87% of Democratic voters, 37% of Republican voters, and 68% of independent voters.
