The U.S. Department of Justice demands that Google be split up and plans to force the sale of Chrome browser

according to The New York Times, the US Department of Justice stated at a Washington antitrust hearing that in order to break Google's monopoly in the field of internet search, it should be forced to divest core assets such as the Chrome browser. The prosecution claims that Chrome is the key gateway for users to access search engines, and splitting it will help competitors access market data and improve services. The case is expected to last for three weeks, and the final "remedies" will be decided this summer.
