The man is a male resident of Yakutmirningsky District (Sakha Republic, Far Eastern Russia). He was arrested by the Sakha Republic branch of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia. The FSB stated that the man "repeatedly used encrypted currency to transfer funds to Ukrainian armed militants," and that the organization used these funds to "conduct espionage and subversive activities against the security of the Russian Federation."
