On June 30, Pyth Network announced that Nasdaq has joined the Pyth Data Marketplace as a data publisher and will be the first to distribute Nasdaq TotalView's full order book (Depth-of-Book) and order imbalance data at market open and close through Pyth. This marks the first time Nasdaq market data is distributed via a blockchain network. Pyth stated that as the consumption of market data shifts from traditional terminals to software applications such as trading systems, fintech platforms, prediction markets, and digital asset trading platforms, the Pyth Data Marketplace provides data providers with a unified distribution channel for both on-chain and off-chain applications, expanding reach while maintaining data ownership and control. Nasdaq TotalView is Nasdaq's core market data product for professional traders, offering a complete order book, order information at various price levels, and participant attribution data, including order imbalance data during the opening and closing auction periods. Currently, other data publishers in the Pyth Data Marketplace include the U.S. Department of Commerce, Kalshi, Euronext, Exchange Data International, OTC Markets, SGX FX, and Tradeweb.
