Capital Group, an investment company based in Los Angeles that manages over $2.3 trillion in assets, has become one of the largest shareholders of Metaplanet. Metaplanet is based in Japan and gained attention last year for its strategy of establishing a Bitcoin (BTC) reserve similar to Michael Saylor's MicroStrategy. Metaplanet currently holds 1,762 bitcoins, making it the 15th largest publicly traded company holding bitcoins globally.

according to economists surveyed, Federal Reserve officials are expected to vote next week to cut interest rates again to guard against the rising risk of a sharp deterioration in the labor market.
