On October 7, CoinDesk reported that Founders Fund, backed by Peter Thiel, led a $5 million purchase of ANVL tokens, with participation from Pantera Capital, Bullish, and others. The terms and valuation were not disclosed. Anvil stated that the tokens come from an existing treasury rather than a new issuance, and ANVL holders enjoy governance rights. Built on Ethereum, Anvil aims to use digital assets as collateral for financial commitments such as payments and credit. The development company also released an SDK, claiming that businesses can integrate it without writing blockchain code. Anvil is developed by Acronym Foundation, is self-funded, and fully open-source, with a total locked value of approximately $14 million. The circulating supply of ANVL is 80 billion tokens, with a total supply of 100 billion tokens.
