According to Beating AI news, Kevin Shi, the former Vice President of Product at Feishu, has abandoned his startup focused on edge-side agents and joined a large model company as a product partner. This transition comes less than three months after he announced his entrepreneurial venture at the end of June. Shi initially planned to develop edge-side agents with a team composed of members from ByteDance and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Reports from June indicated that Sequoia China and Jinqiu Fund participated in early investments, but the funds have not yet been disbursed. The project had also not publicly disclosed specific product details prior to this change. Shi joined ByteDance in 2019 and was responsible for the product direction of Feishu, leading the development of its multi-dimensional spreadsheets.
