BitMine Increases ETH Holdings by 32,447, Total Holdings Exceed 5.847 Million ETH
As of August 23, Eastern Time, BitMine's total cryptocurrency and cash holdings, along with its 'Moon Landing Plan,' amount to $14.9 billion. BitMine holds 5,847,611 ETH (an increase of 32,447 ETH from last week), which represents 4.8% of the total Ethereum supply of 120.7 million ETH. Additionally, it holds 210 BTC, shares in Beast Industries valued at $180 million, shares in Eightco Holdings (NASDAQ: ORBS) worth $89 million, and $308 million in unsecured cash. As of August 23, 2026, the total amount of staked ETH by BitMine is 5,067,309 ETH, which totals $12.4 billion at a price of $2,440 per ETH. -
Strategy Increases Cash Reserves by $1.59 Billion and Repurchases $136 Million of $STRC
On August 24, Strategy raised its dollar reserves to $5.1 billion, adding $1.59 billion in cash and repurchasing $136 million of $STRC. As of August 23, 2026, Strategy holds approximately 4% of the total Bitcoin supply, with a net leverage ratio of about 0%. The increased cash reserves enhance Strategy's 'digital credit capital framework' and are specifically designated for the regular uses of the Bitcoin treasury company, including acquiring Bitcoin, paying preferred stock dividends and interest, repurchasing MSTR/preferred stock, repaying convertible bonds, and increasing dollar reserves. These measures further strengthen $STRC. Assuming a Bitcoin annualized return (ARR) of 10%, a volatility of 40%, and a price of $77,004, the dollar duration is now 3.9 years (an increase of 414 days), and the STRC Bitcoin credit spread is 59 basis points (a decrease of 21 basis points).
