On July 22, BIT Official released a daily chart analysis stating that the implied volatility of Bitcoin and Ethereum is recovering, and with accelerating demand for call options, it suggests that the summer market slump may soon come to an end. Recently, several large call option trades have appeared in the market. Meanwhile, Bitcoin's implied volatility, after dropping from 44% to 31%, has now rebounded to 36%, indicating a recovery in market optimism. Analysts believe this shift could provide support for Bitcoin, even though August and September are typically seasonally weak periods. Analysts noted that earlier in the summer, they had recommended selling volatility, anticipating a period of consolidation. However, given the recent positive changes in options positioning and market sentiment, they adjusted their stance last week to a more optimistic outlook for the future.
