Cryptocurrency broker Voyager recently sold 1,449 ETH for $2.25 million USD via Wintermute, at a selling price of $1,553 per ETH, according to Lookonchain.

This comes as Voyager continues to sell assets, with the firm currently holding 148,774 ETH valued at $233.5 million USD, 5.17 trillion SHIB valued at $57.78 million USD, 1.44 million LINK valued at $10 million USD, 1.17 billion STMX valued at $7.3 million USD, and 411,052 AVAX valued at $6.7 million USD.

Institutions planning to enter this space are required to issue operational notices and report to the SEC within one business day after publication. These public notices will also serve as important signals for the market to assess which companies are entering this sector. Lindman anticipates that there will be some delay in companies submitting relevant notices, likely falling within the next quarter. SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce and Lindman both emphasized that this model "leans more towards on-chain finance rather than true DeFi," as each trading platform has a clear operating entity responsible for compliance, rather than being completely decentralized peer-to-peer finance.

Musalem pointed out that inflation "is not a risk; it already exists," and even excluding the effects of oil and other supply-related factors, the underlying inflation rate could still be several percentage points above the Fed's target and is "heading in the wrong direction."
