Standard Chartered Bank stated in a report on Tuesday that it has halved its Bitcoin price forecast for 2025 to $100,000. At the same time, the bank postponed its long-term target of $500,000 to 2030, originally set for 2028. The bank's analyst Geoffrey Kendrick pointed out that this downgrade is due to a reassessment of demand expectations, including the end of aggressive corporate purchases by entities such as MicroStrategy, and slower-than-expected institutional adoption through ETFs. Kendrick said that future Bitcoin price increases will be "driven only by ETF purchases."
