On September 11, the U.S. seasonally adjusted core CPI for August recorded a monthly increase of 0.3%, the highest level since May of this year, surpassing market expectations of 0.2% and matching the previous value of 0.2%. The unadjusted annual core CPI for August fell to 2.4%, marking a decline for three consecutive months and reaching the lowest level since April 2021, in line with expectations, while the previous value was 2.5%.
