On July 29, according to a security alert released by SlowMist, its MistEye system detected a recruitment scam targeting Web3 professionals. The attackers impersonated recruiters, tricking victims into installing an AI meeting tool named 'Relay,' which is actually malware. The malicious program targets both macOS and Windows users, attempting to steal sensitive information such as browser credentials, wallet-related data, Keychain data, Telegram sessions, and more. SlowMist has analyzed the samples and disclosed details of the attack chain, reminding users to be cautious when installing software during online interviews or recruitment processes and to avoid executing unverified applications.
