Reuters Survey: 49 of 80 Economists Expect ECB to Raise Rates Twice in 2026

On June 3, a Reuters survey revealed that among 80 economists interviewed, 49 expect the European Central Bank to raise interest rates twice in 2026. In a May survey, out of 70 economists, 34 held this view. Additionally, among 42 economists surveyed, 28 believe there is a high risk of stagflation in the Eurozone economy this year.
