On August 12, Poolin established a creditors' committee and has appointed a law firm to represent all creditors in overseeing the bankruptcy process. The case currently involves the sale and liquidation of bankrupt assets, and creditors do not need to hire their own lawyers; they can submit claims through the official Verita Global page. Previously, according to TheEnergyMag, Poolin had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in July in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey, intending to sell its Texas Bitcoin mining assets for $52 million.
