On August 12, Lumentum, a leading U.S.-listed optical communications company, reported Q4 FY2026 results with revenue of $1.01 billion, up 109.3% year-over-year; adjusted EPS of $3.23, versus expectations of $2.97; and adjusted gross margin of 50.4%, versus expectations of 48.8%. Full-year FY2026 results: net revenue of $3.01 billion, and a GAAP net loss of $6.9 billion, or a diluted loss of $92.96 per share. The GAAP net loss was primarily driven by a one-time non-cash debt extinguishment loss of $7.8 billion resulting from the equity conversion of a portion of convertible notes in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026. Non-GAAP net income for fiscal 2026 was $782.3 million, or diluted EPS of $8.67. As of the end of the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, the company held total cash, cash equivalents, and short-term investments of $2.7 billion, an increase of $1.9 billion from the end of fiscal 2025.
