On June 12, Reuters reported that three insiders revealed NVIDIA has informed Chinese customers that its new Vera central processing unit (CPU) for artificial intelligence (AI) data centers could be launched as early as August this year, and customers can start placing orders now. This promotional move highlights that NVIDIA, the world's most valuable company, is quickly pivoting to new products to recover from a sharp decline in performance in the Chinese market. Previously, shipments of its second most powerful AI chip, the H200, had been halted for several months.
