Lombard Finance raises $94.7 million for Bard token

on September 3, the Bitcoin DeFi protocol Lombard Finance completed the public issuance of its Bard token, raising $94.7 million. The fundraising target was originally $6.75 million, but the actual subscription amount exceeded the target by 1400%.

BARD will serve as the governance token of the Lombard Bitcoin DeFi protocol. Lombard stated that it will use the additional funds to develop products and expand the ecosystem, while also hoping to attract more users to its ecosystem by increasing Bitcoin DeFi functionality.
