On September 29, according to GlobeNewswire, Nasdaq-listed company Lite Strategy (ticker: LITS, formerly MEI Pharma) announced its fiscal year 2026 performance (ending June 30). The company is the first U.S. publicly traded firm to use Litecoin (LTC) as its primary treasury reserve asset. During the fiscal year, it deployed $100 million to purchase LTC, holding 832,716 LTC as of June 30, making it the largest publicly traded holder of LTC globally. The total assets at the end of the period were $42.7 million, with no debt. The company initiated a $25 million stock buyback, having repurchased approximately 6.4 million shares (17% of the outstanding shares) as of September 22, which narrowed the NAV discount from about 40% to the lower range of 20%.
