HSK Chain Sponsors EAG's Global Developer Initiative for Emerging Web3 Markets

On August 12, HSK Chain announced its sponsorship of the '2026 Global Builders Initiative,' a global developer growth program initiated by the Ethereum Applications Guild (EAG), aimed at promoting the global developer ecosystem and innovation in Ethereum applications. This event expands the competition to three emerging Web3 markets: Australia, Africa, and Latin America, marking a significant step in HSK Chain's global ecological layout. The event will take place from August 19 to September 29, 2026, covering developer communities in six regions: Brazil, Nigeria, Colombia, Kenya, Bolivia, and Sydney, Australia. The competition will feature an 'online development course + regional Hackathon + offline Demo Day' format, expecting to attract over 1,000 Web3 developers globally and facilitate hundreds of innovative projects into the incubation process. As a sponsor, HSK Chain will establish independent tracks at the six sites and provide a total prize pool of 10,000 USDT, focusing on innovative applications in areas such as AI Agents, DeFi, stablecoin payments, and RWA (real-world assets). HSK Chain will offer technical support, mainnet deployment services, and Demo Day pitching opportunities for participating teams, with outstanding projects having the chance to connect with the official Grant program and ecological incubation resources. EAG (Ethereum Applications Guild) is a global non-profit developer organization co-initiated by Dr. Xiao Feng, Chairman and CEO of HashKey Group, and Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, during Token2049 in 2025, aimed at transforming the Ethereum ecosystem from infrastructure development to application innovation.

On September 24, CoinDesk reported that Bullish (NYSE:BLSH), along with shareholder services and market infrastructure company Equiniti, has formed the 'Issuer-Led Tokenized Securities Alliance' in collaboration with Alpaca, Apex Fintech Solutions, and DriveWealth. The alliance advocates for tokenized stocks to be directly linked to the issuer's official shareholder register, preserving voting rights, dividends, and corporate action rights, thereby avoiding synthetic products that only provide price exposure without legal rights. Key focus areas include shareholder rights protection, interoperability between traditional and on-chain infrastructure, issuance, transfer, settlement custody, and secondary market trading arrangements. This move follows the U.S. SEC's innovation exemption on September 17, which allows limited on-chain trading of U.S. listed stocks.

  • Bitget CEO: Recent Platform Attack Not Due to Key Leak, No Accurate Time for Withdrawal Recovery

On September 25, Bitget CEO Gracy Chen publicly addressed the platform's recent attack during a live stream, stating that the platform is currently preparing to restore withdrawals, but there is no accurate timeline for recovery yet. Both internal and external technical teams at Bitget are working to identify the issues and develop solutions, aiming to restore relevant services as soon as possible. Gracy Chen noted that the method of attack in this theft incident differs from previous security events experienced by other exchanges. According to the current investigation, hackers did not execute the attack through key leaks; instead, they bypassed certain systems and initiated withdrawals through the system. She mentioned that a key leak would be the worst-case scenario, but this incident is not one of those. Due to the involvement of multiple cryptocurrencies and blockchain networks in this incident, Bitget cannot directly reopen withdrawals for the time being. Withdrawals will only be restored after confirming that funds are completely secure and a more robust handling plan is established. Gracy Chen stated that the platform has completed a comprehensive loss prevention measure and that no further attacks will occur; withdrawals will be reopened once the security issues are more definitively addressed.
