Google Up 3% Premarket, Unveils Next-Gen Robot AI Model

On July 31, Google rose nearly 3% in premarket trading to $342.74 per share. Google DeepMind released humanoid robot AI models such as Gemini Robotics 2, which enable full-body motor control for humanoid robots, converting camera imagery and natural language instructions into motor control commands. Researchers noted that the robots achieved a 92% success rate in the task of 'unscrewing a light bulb,' but the success rate for more complex actions remains relatively low.

On the earnings call, Apple guided fiscal fourth-quarter revenue growth in the range of 9% to 11%, overall below analysts' expectation of 12.1%. The company's CFO Parekh said component supply constraints will affect fourth-quarter iPhone, Mac, and iPad businesses, and foreign exchange fluctuations are also restraining growth.
