According to market sources: The latest data from Goldman Sachs shows that as of July 13, there were over 1.2 million retail leveraged trading accounts in South Korea that triggered margin calls, among which an estimated 320,000 to 360,000 accounts have been fully forced liquidated. This means that approximately 3.4% of South Korea's adult population has received margin call notices. Since July 13, the KOSPI index has further fallen by about 18%; institutions estimate that the total number of fully liquidated retail accounts in South Korea has now exceeded 500,000.
