On June 12, according to the Iranian official media IRNA, the main framework of the agreement text regarding the memorandum of understanding between Iran and the U.S. to end the war includes the following points: 1. The nuclear issue remains unchanged. The current memorandum does not involve agreements related to nuclear issues, and Iran will not make any new commitments. Negotiations on the nuclear issue will take place within 60 days after the signing of the agreement. 2. Strait of Hormuz: No transfer of management rights, nor any role for the U.S. Iran will not make any commitments regarding the transfer of management rights over the Strait of Hormuz. Future management arrangements for the strait will be resolved through dialogue and joint decision-making between Iran and Oman as regional matters. 3. Complete end to the war on all fronts, including Lebanon. The main goal of the memorandum is to end the war on all regional fronts. The U.S. commits to compel Israel to end the war in Lebanon, and the term 'extension of ceasefire' does not appear anywhere in the agreement text. 4. Unfreezing Iran's frozen assets through a clear mechanism. Some frozen assets will be immediately unfrozen after the signing of the agreement, while the remaining assets will be gradually unfrozen during subsequent negotiations. Tehran has received clear guarantees based on the requested mechanism. 5. War reparations are on the agenda. The losses caused by U.S. and Israeli aggression against Iran are one of the topics mentioned in the memorandum. The implementation mechanism for compensation will be agreed upon during negotiations within 60 days after the signing of the agreement. 6. Details of the lifting of primary and secondary sanctions will be reserved for final agreement discussions. The issue of lifting all U.S. sanctions and related international resolutions will be reviewed during the 60-day nuclear negotiations. 7. Three topics of the final agreement and the 60-day negotiation period. During the 60-day negotiation period, only three topics will be discussed: the continued advancement of a peaceful nuclear program; the lifting of unilateral U.S. sanctions; and the mechanism for loss compensation. Any other topics, including Iran's missile capabilities, will not be included in the negotiation agenda.
