According to Beating AI news, Doubao has introduced a cloud computing environment for its 'work tasks'. Users can offload heavy tasks such as data research, batch file processing, and scheduled tasks to the cloud, where Doubao will continuously execute them on a dedicated cloud computer. This means tasks won't occupy the user's personal computer. Whether users are outside or have closed their laptops, cloud tasks can continue running, and they can check progress and results via their mobile phones. Community tests have also confirmed that work tasks can now switch seamlessly between local and cloud environments. Doubao effectively provides two working environments: local data and light tasks can be handled directly on the user's computer for faster response, while long-running tasks can be delegated to the cloud.
