On September 26, DHL Group projected that as major tech companies build data centers to respond to the AI boom, the emerging logistics services for these companies and data centers will achieve at least three years of double-digit growth. The Swiss freight giant announced a seven-year agreement earlier this week to handle such business for Amazon, driving its stock price to a two-year high. DHL CEO Stefan Paul stated that the company counts six of the so-called 'Big Seven' U.S. tech firms among its clients. Hyperscale enterprises and others are seeking end-to-end supply chain services that go beyond basic transportation, including vendor management, customs clearance, and on-site delivery. 'What we see is that the demand forecast for the next three years is already locked in,' Paul said. 'So for 2027, 2028, and 2029, we have a rough idea of how much they foresee in terms of equipment and growth, and we expect to still achieve double-digit growth,' he added. (Jinshi)
