On October 28, Jack Cable and Ashwin Ramaswami, co-founders of AI coding security company Corridor, announced on Cognition's official website that Corridor will join Cognition and advance Devin Security to the next stage. Cognition later confirmed on X that the company is acquiring Corridor. Cognition is the developer of AI software engineer Devin. Cable and Ramaswami stated that Corridor was founded about two years ago with the mission of accelerating secure and autonomous software development, and has since become a security layer for AI-native teams. They mentioned that they will collaborate with Cognition's president, Corridor's early advisor Russell Kaplan, Chief Security Officer Alex Stamos, and Chief Technology Officer Steven Hao. The two emphasized that throughout their careers, they have focused on discovering and fixing vulnerabilities in critical systems, and believe that AI entities are now capable of executing end-to-end attack chains, necessitating new tools for defenders. Corridor previously announced the completion of a $5.4 million seed round led by Conviction in August 2025, and in March 2026, it announced the completion of a $25 million Series A round led by Felicis, with a valuation of $200 million, with participation from Conviction, Timeless, Lux Capital, Datadog, SV Angel, and others. The company's product is positioned to embed security controls during the AI code generation process, rather than adding security measures after the code is completed.
