On March 29, it was reported that after more than two months of detention of Chen Zhi, the founder of Cambodia's Prince Group, the UK has further imposed sanctions on a Southeast Asian fraud network, which includes Hu Xiaowei, closely associated with Chen Zhi. The sanctions document released by the UK refers to Hu Xiaowei as 'Wu Anming,' stating that he is linked to Chen Zhi and the Prince Group, and is described as 'a long-term collaborator of Chen Zhi' who provides financial services, economic resources, and technical support. It is reported that the cryptocurrency trading platform 'New Coin' has also been sanctioned; New Coin is considered one of the largest illegal markets in Southeast Asia, providing cryptocurrency services to fraud centers, including the sale of stolen personal data and satellite internet equipment used to contact victims.
