Bitwise Launches Europe’s First Bitcoin-Gold Hybrid ETP

Asset management company Bitwise launched an exchange-traded product (ETP) tracking Bitcoin and gold on March 6th on the pan-European exchanges in Paris and Amsterdam.

The product, named Bitwise Diaman Bitcoin & Gold ETP (BTCG), replicates the Diaman Bitcoin and Gold Index, which adjusts performance based on the risk of Bitcoin, dynamically reallocating value between BTC and gold to take advantage of the cyclical trends between risk preferences and risk aversion behaviors in financial markets.
