Binance Launches AI Trading Interface with 150,000 Users Participating in Testing

On October 13, cryptocurrency exchange Binance announced the official launch of its personalized trading interface, Binance AI, for English-speaking users worldwide. This free tool, based on generative UI, customizes market information, portfolio tracking, and trading features according to users' interests and trading experience levels, with more language versions being rolled out. A Binance spokesperson revealed to The Block that approximately 150,000 users have participated in testing since the product was opened for trials on September 7. Features of Binance AI include AI-generated summaries of portfolio performance, analysis of trending volatile assets, voice alerts, and on-demand text or audio market briefings. The product was demonstrated during a live stream last week, alongside the upcoming Binance AI Pro. Jeff Li, Vice President of Binance Products, stated that the market is becoming increasingly complex, but tools for understanding the market should be easier to use. The interface aims to make market information more accessible to users, whether they are novice traders or managing more complex positions. Binance Co-CEO Richard Teng described the product in an announcement on October 5 as part of the company's efforts to make financial information more accessible. He noted that finance has traditionally been built for those who already understand it, while blockchain allows everyone to enter the market, and AI empowers everyone with the knowledge to navigate it. In April, Teng discussed the company's super app strategy with The Block, which includes plans on how to leverage artificial intelligence.

  • Bank of America Warns Market Risk Aversion May Last Until Mid-November Amid Three Ongoing Risks

On October 23, Bank of America strategist Michael Hartnett stated in a recent client report that the current global market risk aversion may continue until mid-November. He emphasized a tactical caution towards risk assets until the uncertainties surrounding AI financing risks, pressure in the French bond market, and the U.S. midterm elections are alleviated. In terms of liquidity, although investors are shifting towards defensive positions, technology stocks remain crowded. EPFR Global data shows that technology stock funds recorded the largest inflow since July in the past week, while Bank of America's October fund manager survey indicates that global investors' allocation to technology stocks has reached its highest level since August 2020. Hartnett believes that if the credit spreads related to AI super cloud companies peak, it could signal an important improvement in risk appetite. He is also monitoring the yield on French 10-year government bonds and the France-Germany yield spread, as well as the policy uncertainties surrounding the U.S. midterm elections on November 3. Until these risks are re-priced, the market may maintain a defensive stance in the short term.
