AI giant Anthropic has announced that it has signed a 20-year data center lease with Bitcoin mining company and data center operator TeraWulf to build AI computing infrastructure in Kentucky, USA. The data center is expected to begin its initial power supply in the second half of 2027, and the initial lease agreement is projected to generate approximately $19 billion in revenue for TeraWulf. TeraWulf is accelerating its transformation from a Bitcoin mining company to AI data center infrastructure, with its stock price rising over 80% this year, reflecting the market's ongoing demand for AI computing infrastructure.
