From Project Aggregation to a Commercial Cycle: ENI’s Ecosystem Enters a New Phase

Recently, the partnership landscape around ENI, an enterprise-grade modular public chain, has been expanding rapidly.

In the final week of August, ENI added two key capabilities across data and intelligent coordination. On Aug 27, DataVLT, developed by Nasdaq-listed data technology company Datavault AI, was deployed on ENI, while AxiomOS, a programmable intelligent coordination system, integrated with the network on the same day. Just one week earlier, ENI had signed a cooperation agreement with Malaysia Blockchain Infrastructure (MBI), Malaysia’s national blockchain infrastructure initiative; decentralized trading infrastructure platform WhaleLand and GateDEX, Gate’s self-custodial Web3 wallet and DApp gateway, also opened new trading and user access points. Data, intelligent execution, local industry access and liquidity are beginning to converge along the same path.

From Node Rosters to Live Deployments, Data and Intelligent Applications Come Online First

Datavault AI (NASDAQ: DVLT) has long built products around data ownership, valuation and monetization. DataVLT’s deployment on ENI connects identities, devices, data and decentralized networks through components including DID and DVLT ONE, creating a verifiable on-chain environment for data generated by AI, Web3 and IoT devices. AxiomOS, integrated on the same day, handles state verification, task execution and value coordination across AI agents, applications, data networks and digital assets. DataVLT supplies the data layer, while AxiomOS handles calls and execution; together, they give ENI the foundation for agents to read and use network data while leaving verifiable results on-chain. The next question is whether these capabilities can enter real enterprise projects and development workflows and generate sustained usage.

Malaysia Partnership Signed, Regional Expansion Moves into Project Execution

On Aug 20, ENI formally signed a cooperation agreement with Malaysia Blockchain Infrastructure (MBI), Malaysia’s national blockchain infrastructure initiative, and ENI’s Malaysia-based regional partnership arm, ENI Permata Helios, was recognized as an official industry ecosystem partner. Led by MIMOS, Malaysia’s national applied R&D agency, MBI will work with ENI to identify industry use cases, advance pilots and proofs of concept, integrate infrastructure and APIs, and support local innovation, compliance and ecosystem development.

Before the agreement was signed, ENI had already participated in Malaysia Blockchain Week, a major local industry event, and established ties with local cybersecurity, legal, industry and technology representatives. The process has moved from conference discussions to a formal agreement, and from the agreement toward PoCs and API integration, bringing regional expansion into a project-based phase. Connecting enterprise systems to blockchain touches procurement, security, data governance, legal review and regulatory engagement at the same time; MBI provides the local industry interface, while ENI provides the chain and enterprise-grade solutions. Whether the two sides can produce a replicable implementation case will directly shape the pace of ENI’s expansion across Southeast Asia.

New Trading Gateways Bring Liquidity to Ecosystem Projects

Once a project is deployed on-chain, token trading, liquidity pools and user access quickly become practical concerns. On Aug 20, decentralized trading infrastructure platform WhaleLand announced support for ENI Chain and became a preferred DEX and liquidity partner for ENI ecosystem projects, allowing teams to handle launches, token integration, liquidity pool creation and swaps on the same platform. GateDEX, Gate’s self-custodial Web3 wallet and DApp gateway, has added ENI to the Gate Wallet DApp list; the ENI XPLAN ecosystem points campaign launched by the two sides also places tasks, rewards and product experiences in one gateway, shortening the path to launch while bringing users directly to a place where they can participate.

The day after the Malaysia agreement was signed, the ENI Korea team hosted a “Beyond Trading” AMA on X Spaces. ENI founder and CEO Arion Ho, ENI Korea CEO Paul Kim, a Web3 and Asia-Pacific market veteran with more than fifteen years of experience, and representatives from ecosystem participants including WhaleLand, DataVLT and ENIPAY, ENI’s payment and AI agent transaction infrastructure, discussed how multichain DEXs could become open financial infrastructure for Asia. DataVLT contributes the data and intelligence layer, WhaleLand handles trading and liquidity, and the Korea team leads local market engagement. Bringing these roles to the same public discussion helped build shared context for future product collaboration, joint campaigns and regional rollout. The multichain trading experience contributed by earlier partners such as multichain DEX protocol DODO and global crypto exchange LBank continues to extend the external reach of this commercial network.

Public-chain competition has moved well beyond specification sheets. Whether enterprises are willing to integrate APIs, developers are willing to deploy products, traders are willing to keep liquidity in the network, and users are willing to return is the real test of whether an ecosystem can endure. DataVLT and AxiomOS now bring data and intelligent execution into the network, MBI takes the technology into Malaysia’s industrial environment, WhaleLand, GateDEX and ENIPAY connect projects with trading, payments and users, while AMAs, regional events and community programs keep the participants in ongoing conversation and collaboration. Project flow, user flow and transaction flow are beginning to converge on ENI.

Moving from project aggregation to a commercial cycle is the process through which ENI evolves from a technical network into an industry network. Adding nodes is only the beginning; the work that takes time is bringing each node’s industry resources into the network, giving every partnership a product path and putting every product into repeated use. Once enterprises, developers, capital and users can keep working together on the same infrastructure, ENI’s ecosystem relationships can mature into a commercial network that can be replicated across regions and industries. Technology then steps out of the vision and into every enterprise call, every developer deployment and every user transaction, becoming part of the infrastructure that keeps the next generation of digital commerce running.

  • First Tokenized Stock Trading Venues May Emerge Next Quarter

On September 22, Taylor Lindman, Chief Legal Counsel of the SEC's Crypto Special Working Group, stated in an interview that under the SEC's five-year "Innovation Exemption" framework, the first compliant tokenized stock trading venues could gradually take shape as early as next quarter. This exemption has officially come into effect, allowing qualified platforms to conduct tokenized trading of U.S. stocks on public blockchains through licensed automated market makers (AMMs) and liquidity pools. Institutions planning to enter this space are required to issue operational notices and report to the SEC within one business day after publication. These public notices will also serve as important signals for the market to assess which companies are entering this sector. Lindman anticipates that there will be some delay in companies submitting relevant notices, likely falling within the next quarter. SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce and Lindman both emphasized that this model "leans more towards on-chain finance rather than true DeFi," as each trading platform has a clear operating entity responsible for compliance, rather than being completely decentralized peer-to-peer finance.

  • Fed's Musalem: Further Rate Hikes May Be Needed to Curb Inflation

On September 22, Fed's Musalem stated on Monday that due to strong demand and commodity price shocks extending beyond the oil sector, the Federal Reserve may need to further raise interest rates to reduce inflation. He emphasized that the Fed should act sooner rather than wait. Musalem remarked, "Persistent demand and recurring supply pressures are still exacerbating inflation risks. I believe that without further policy measures to curb inflation, in 18 months, inflation is likely to be significantly above our 2% target rather than reaching it. I think policies must impose meaningful constraints on inflation so that the Fed can achieve its inflation target in about a year and a half, allowing time for the tightening policies to impact the economy." He also stated, "Compared to later, larger, and potentially more abrupt policy measures, earlier and gradual policy tightening is more appropriate and causes less shock to the economy." Musalem pointed out that inflation "is not a risk; it already exists," and even excluding the effects of oil and other supply-related factors, the underlying inflation rate could still be several percentage points above the Fed's target and is "heading in the wrong direction."
