Tether Treasury Mints $1 Billion USDT on Ethereum Network, Confirms CTO Paolo Ardoino

April 21 (Cointime) - Tether Treasury has minted 1 billion USDT (equivalent to $1.004 billion USD) on the Ethereum network, according to Whale Alert.

Paolo Ardoino, the CTO of Tether, clarified in a reply that this is an authorized but not issued transaction, indicating that the funds will be used as inventory for the next period issuance requests and chain swaps.
