Dear PermaDAO Community Members:

The three-month Arweave Asia Summer Hackathon has successfully concluded, with a total of 8 projects receiving a combined prize of 12,500 U tokens. We hope to continue cultivating the Arweave ecosystem. Additionally, this week, MAPDAO and PermaDAO announced a strategic partnership, sharing resources to further drive DAO governance and development. MAP tokens were also launched on everPay this week, and we look forward to the collaborative energy between these two DAOs. Finally, the community has continued to produce high-quality articles, providing insights into various developments within the Arweave ecosystem. Let's Build ~

Workload Overview

The work accomplished by various guilds within PermaDAO last week is as follows:

  • The Management Guild has completed 3 tasks.
  • The Content Guild has accomplished 39 tasks.

             The Translation Group has translated 16 articles.

             The Creative Group has completed 9 tasks.

             The Submission Group has approved 16 submissions of ecosystem-related articles.

  • The PSPG Guild has completed 1 tasks.
  • The Activities Guild has finished 2 online events.
  • The Branding & Promotion Guild has disseminated 654 articles.

PermaDAO has distributed  1,413.4 $AR tokens in total to dedicated volunteers, and we encourage them to persevere!

1. MAPDAO and PermaDAO Announce Strategic Partnership

MAPDAO and PermaDAO have joined forces to support the governance and development of DAO organizations. MAPDAO is dedicated to building the Map ecosystem, providing education and resources for newcomers, lowering the entry barriers to Web3, and empowering Founders and Buidlers to realize their innovative visions. Both parties will share community resources and explore the iteration of DAO governance tools. This collaboration will bring more opportunities to all, and we look forward to a deeper joint effort in the governance and development of DAO, contributing to the prosperity of Web3 ecosystem.

2. Arweave Asia Summer Hackathon Awards Ceremony

The Arweave Asia Summer Hackathon concluded after a duration of three months, and the award ceremony took place on the evening of September 21st. Out of the 14 selected projects, 8 received awards. Cascad3 received the "Eco Newcomer" award, a decentralized publishing platform aimed at promoting collaboration and monetizing collective intellectual property. ProtocolSign and Soulcial received the "Unlimited Potential" award, and 5 other projects received the "Best Contribution" award. In total, the hackathon rewarded 8 projects with 12,500 U tokens. We hope everyone will continue to contribute and build the Arweave ecosystem.

3. $MAP Listed on everPay

On September 22nd, everPay officially listed the $MAP token, allowing all $MAP holders to benefit from instant, 0 gas fee transactions, and enhanced security, all powered by everPay.

This product is offered through Trade.xyz on Hyperliquid, continuing Ripple Prime's previous initiative to provide clients with access to cryptocurrency perpetual contract trading.

  • NYC Comptroller Urges Anthropic to Pause IPO Plans

    On October 15, New York City Comptroller Mark Levine stated in an interview that he has written to Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei, urging the company to suspend its planned initial public offering (IPO). In the letter, he called for Anthropic to pause its IPO plans until it can fully and transparently address concerns related to AI safety, governance, and development that the company itself has raised. Levine wrote that the company should focus on mitigating these risks rather than advancing the IPO. Currently, New York City has an investment exposure of less than $10 million in Anthropic through the private market.

  • US September PPI Rises 6.3% Year-on-Year, Exceeding Market Expectations

    The US Producer Price Index (PPI) for September recorded a year-on-year increase of 6.3%, the highest since May 2026, surpassing market expectations of 5.3%. The month-on-month PPI for September was reported at 1.3%, significantly higher than the market forecast of 0.5%. Additionally, US retail sales for September showed a month-on-month increase of 0.8%, also exceeding market expectations.
