April 26 (Cointime) - OpenAI announced that it has introduced several new features to ChatGPT. Users now have the option to disable chat history, and OpenAI is currently developing a ChatGPT Business subscription. Additionally, a new Export feature is being implemented which will enable users to export their conversations.
As per the announcement, when chat history is disabled, conversations will not be used to train and improve OpenAI's models, nor will they appear in the history sidebar. Notably, when chat history is disabled, OpenAI will retain new conversations for 30 days and review them only when needed to monitor for abuse, before permanently deleting them.
OpenAI is also currently working on a new ChatGPT Business subscription for professionals and enterprises seeking to manage their end-users. The ChatGPT Business subscription will follow OpenAI's API's data usage policies, meaning that end-users' data will not be used to train their models by default. OpenAI plans to make ChatGPT Business available in the coming months.
OpenAI has introduced a new Export option in settings. Users will receive a file with their conversations and all other relevant data in their email.
