About Mina Protocol
Mina is a cryptocurrency protocol designed to be a lightweight, decentralized, and privacy-preserving alternative to traditional blockchain networks. The protocol uses a novel technology called zk-SNARKs (zero-knowledge succinct non-interactive arguments of knowledge) to enable the verification of transactions without the need to store the entire blockchain history on each node. This allows Mina to maintain a small, fixed-sized blockchain that can be stored and verified by anyone, even those with limited computing resources.
