UnbankedHQ, a partner of Litecoin Foundation, has announced that US-based users of Litecoin Visa cards will no longer be able to use them from May 1, 2023. The move comes after their banking partner, MCBankNY, decided to stop supporting businesses that deal with digital currencies.
The announcement has caused disappointment among Litecoin holders who valued the ease of use and convenience of the Litecoin Visa card. It remains to be seen if Litecoin Foundation will seek out a new banking partner to provide similar services to its US-based users.

Please be aware, if you're enrolled in a US Litecoin Visa card you will no longer be able to use it as of May 1st, 2023. Our partner @UnbankedHQ is transitioning away from banking partner @MCBankNY, who have decided to stop supporting businesses that touch digital currencies. pic.twitter.com/LlL8xSYsqI
