The first MAPO Hackathon, which was co-hosted by MAP Protocol and Waterdrip Capital, took place from May 6 to May 31 and successfully concluded with an offline Demo Day in Seoul, South Korea on May 31. A collection of more than 70 project proposals were submitted; 35 of them were chosen for display on May 27 and May 31 respectively, both online and offline. Finally 17 remarkable projects stood out and received prizes. The Web3 landscape has begun to take shape.

BeezTrip made its debut outside of the Greater Bay Area for the first time. As an entirely novel product, we work to develop practical and compliant application scenarios for crypto payment, which ideally matches the event’s theme of “Break Barrier in Web3,” encourages the diversification and openness of the entire chain ecology, and resolves the current interoperability problem. BeezTrip thus won the prize for the best web3 innovation project in the payment category and made a spectacular start worldwide.

Liz, the founder, gave a thorough rundown of the BeezTrip operating procedure to all participants at Demo Day, illustrating how to book flight tickets crosses the gap between the crypto wallet and the real-life scenarios. Hotel booking function will also be available soon.
For C-end users, BeezTrip hopes to take the business trip scenario as the first step. By eliminating the links to KYC and account creation from the whole process, we strengthens the autonomy and highlights the significance and necessity of compliance during payment, allowing users to spend while earning on-chain, which will help crypto become an increasingly viable option for everyday consumption.

BeezTrip was both a participant and a sponsor this time. For a few of the outstanding participating teams, we have provided a 600U discount on flight ticket booking which allows them to purchase any airline ticket through BeezTrip.com. 10 lucky winners will also be picked at random from MAP’s online followers, which means they will each receive a discount on a flight ticket equal to 66U. Some routes have the possibility of being fully covered in order to inspire new users to zealously adopt innovative approaches, while garnering unanimous praise from judges and users.

Beez Finance, the parent company of BeezTrip, plans to gradually expand its market and enter other payment scenarios after the launch of flight booking services, such as corporate payments, generating a compliance platform for crypto-centric entities and individuals, and creating legal consumption channels.
A rich and varied interoperability web3 image has been painted during this event, with extremely specialized Web3 application situations consisting of financing, payment, and DID. It is obvious that the full-chain application scenario has taken center stage during the project’s inception and is progressively becoming more visible to web3 supporters.
