Sources stated that Vitol has provided supplies to refiners in recent days, including Basrah medium sour crude and Basrah heavy crude, delivered through ship-to-ship transfers in waters near Fujairah (UAE port). If the transaction is completed, it would be a rare case of Iraqi crude oil being publicly offered by traders in the spot market since the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
