Nvidia plans to launch a new chip to accelerate AI processing, potentially reshaping the computing market.

Nvidia plans to launch a brand new processor designed specifically to help OpenAI and other customers develop faster and more efficient tools. This move will have a significant impact on its business and is expected to reshape the competitive landscape of the AI field. Insiders revealed that Nvidia is designing a completely new "inference" computing system. Inference computing is a processing method that enables AI models to respond to queries. Insiders said the new platform will debut next month at Nvidia's GTC developer conference in San Jose and will use chips designed by the startup Groq. Some insiders indicated that OpenAI has agreed to become one of the largest customers of this new processor, which is undoubtedly a major win for Nvidia. (The Wall Street Journal)

The European Central Bank has released a new report stating that gold's share of the total global official reserve assets has risen to 27%, surpassing U.S. Treasuries to become the largest official reserve asset worldwide. The report indicates that the share of U.S. Treasuries in global official reserve assets has decreased to 22%, while other dollar-denominated reserve assets account for 20% and euro-denominated reserve assets make up 15%.
