On April 30, Korean crypto venture capital firm Hashed received a financial services license issued by the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). This license allows the group entity Hashed Global Management Limited to conduct regulated financial activities within ADGM or from the center, including investment or credit advisory, investment transaction arrangements, asset management, and collective investment fund management. Hashed plans to leverage this to collaborate with Middle Eastern institutional investors in a regulated environment, reinforcing its role as a strategic bridge between the UAE and South Korea, deepening investment connections, and expanding cross-border cooperation opportunities. Recently, Binance, Circle, and Tether have also obtained licenses to operate in Abu Dhabi.
